There's not too much that I want to post on here right now except for the past two weeks have just simply been phenomonal...

Well what do ya know?  I'm going to post an update.

I've got another car, my grandma is now at the Continuous Care Center or whatever it is called now, I'm coaching a baseball team, and that's about it.  I could go more in-depth, but that would require effort.  Just wanted to let everyone out there who reads this know that I am, in fact, still alive.

ANOTHER great week underway.

First off, no, I'm not listening to old school Britney Spears (back when she was actually attractive), but the song sums it up...

After recovering pretty well from the accident last week, I was in Huntington on Monday, June 6...my birthday no-less.  I was on 3rd Ave. in front of Pullman Square in heavy traffic when a car 2 vehicles in front stopped sharply for no reason.  The car in front of me stopped hard and I stopped hard, but the truck behind me didn't and rear-ended me.  Did substantial damage to the car.  So now we're down to 1 working vehicle in the family...it's just been a rough time.  I suffered a sprained neck in this incident, but I'm doing okay.

I have so many things I really want to do and stuff like this keeps happening and I'm not really getting anything done this summer.  So much for summer school, and so much for graduating next spring.  ARRGGHH!!!!

Wow, what a week...and it is only Tuesday.

Saturday, went to Jordan's graduation party at the Sr. Citizen's Center.  I had a BLAST.  Those are some of my favorite people to hang out with, but we never get to anymore.  Played some old kindergarten games like duck, duck, goose; limbo; and musical chairs.  Dark room, strobe light, musical chairs, down to the final two circling one chair...yeah...that made me REALLY dizzy.

Monday, had one of the worst things to ever happen to me, which shows how blessed I've been in life for this to be one of the worst.  Every Memorial Day, my family goes out to my maternal grandmother's grave to put up some flowers and remember (she passed away before I was born).  This was our first Memorial Day without my maternal grandfather, who passed away in January.  So we're on the way to East Lynn, we being my dad, mom, step-grandma, and myself, and we were involved in a head-on collision.  Ford Ranger pickup crossed the double yellow and drilled us...we had no where to go either, we were right up against the guard rail.  It was a pretty hard shot.  I saw it in time to brace myself, so I was ok.  Dad was ok too, but my mom broke her wrist and sprained her knee, while my step-grandma's chest was bruised pretty badly.  Probably totaled our van.  Spent all afternoon at the hospital.  Definately wasn't any fun.  But we were lucky that it wasn't any worse than what it was.  So now all 3 of us are sore, mom a lil worse than Dad and I, but we're all ok.  I'm going to go check on my step-grandma (she was released as well yesterday).

Today I slept like a baby...14 hours (yes, I got up for a few minutes at a time, but I was WELL-rested when I got up this morning).  I have so much to take care of.  I need to get to Huntington and finish that highlight tape, but I can't go any earlier than Monday.  I'm just too sore to be out running around a whole lot.  I have to take care of so many things tomorrow though...it's sad.  But I'll get it done and keep on going.  Hopefully one of these days, I'll begin to enjoy this summer vacation, but so far, it's been awful.
